Big decision

Well, it's big for me.

I'm going to sell off a majority of my Sailor Moon collection.

*takes deep breaths* Yeah, I'm not too excited about it, however I haven't kept up with the fandom at all. Honestly, I think I love the idea of Sailormoon more than anything else. The stuff...it's just stuff. It doesn't hold the same appeal/fascination that it used to.

On the chopping block (everything is out of box):

Really the only things I'm keeping are my Bandai USA wand and locket, my Bandai 6 inch dolls, and the manga. Essentially I'm going back to what I started with. It's kind of sad, but I think it's also a good thing. I'm going to hit up smcollector for pricing help. I'd rather not put anything on ebay if I can help it...

*cough* Sorry got a little excited. Can you post pics? ;) 99% of my stuff is all out of box, so thats great that your stuff is too XD (If you're willing to work with me over my next few paychecks after you figure out how much you want for everything, I could probably buy the lot off you ^^)

The only thing there might be a fight over are the gashapon. A friend here said that if I ever sold them I had to talk to her first. I'll keep you posted.

I believe there are people over on serasell that are looking for the Beauty Change Dolls. The dolls tend to go fast there. (That's where I sold all of mine.)

I know what you mean about loving the idea of something though. I kinda feel that way about anime in general. I no longer feel the need to keep up with every single series I possibly can and pay attention to anything that gets licensed here in America. For one, the industry has gotten too large, but for two I just don't have the time or drive (I only follow the Naruto sub now). So much has changed in the past 10+ years.

I guess it would help if SM was still running or if you were still in high school. So many things were just more fun in high school. (Oh, to be innocent again...) At least no one says you have to have every doll under the sun to be a fan. :P

The keychains are taken, but the globe is up for grabs. I'm asking $30 since I still have the box. I just wish I hadn't lost ChibiUsa. -_-; I bought the damn thing for $75 when SM was really hot.

evilcatsterer kinda has dibs on the whole set atm, but that's not to say she is interested in the henshin wand. Once I get the pricing sorted out for some of the odder things, I'll let everyone know what's going down. Trust me, I want you to have it. ^_^

Heh, okay I can't quite afford $500 for the whole thing ^^* A bit too much for me (it would take me months to afford that, especially with other things I have to take care of, plus Youmacon coming up). **takes a deep breath and actually thinks about things since shes not at work**

The Pegasus Globe and Henshin wand I can pass on since people are interested, no problem. (I'm not even sure what the Pegasus Globe is, couldn't find pictures matching exactly that, so I'm going to pass on it. ^^*) My biggest obsession is the last season, so I definitely want any of the Stars stuff you have (depending on price of course), and I love the outer senshi to death, so depending on price, I do really want anything of them you have (even if it means spending a fortune on Saturn x.x (Is it really worth $100 out of box? yeesh x.x) I looked up the beauty change dolls, and hers is positively adorable, I neeeeeed it). The other items I do want to see pictures and prices before I make any decisions.

Is it really worth $100 out of box?

Gotta throw my 2 cents in - she's worth about $100-$150 in box, and from $50-$100 out of box, depending on condition. I shop Yahoo!Japan religiously, and it's crazy what I can pick up for a steal over there. I just bought a Tier, a Kaleidoscope wand and the Chalice (holy grail) all out of box for $77 total.

Ok, Stars stuff. That would be the Beauty Change dolls, the Yelling Star, keychains and the two Dream Pocket dolls.

The Gashapon are technically Sailormoon World, and they don't have the Starlights in there anywhere (which sucks!!)

Breakdown:
Yelling Star $50
Dream Pocket: $25 each
Keychains: $20 for all
Beauty Change: $50 each OR $200 for all 5 if you get them all.
I'll also throw in set 1 and 5 of the gashapon. As I said, they look good, but most hardcore collectors won't touch them. Personally I like them. You can't tell the difference.

Okay, let me see. I'll take the Beauty Change dolls for sure. Definitely. Yes. The Dream Pocket dolls I think I'll take. **mentally kicks herself and shakes her fist at her mom for not letting her buy them in the store when they were $16 some 10 years ago** The Yelling Star I want to think about.. I'm debating on if I want to spend $50 on it ^^* Would you be willing to split the keychains up? I want mostly just the Starlights.
Which ones are part of sets 1&5 anyway? ^^* Do you know about the rest of the figures yet?
How much do you want for Princess Serenity and the wallscroll? (I'm assuming its the one pictured behind the dolls?) And do you have pictures of the posters and tins?

Yeah, I can't count the number of times I've say 'dang it!' when I passed something up.

I will get pics of the other stuff, but not tonight. Honestly? The posters aren't worth your time. I don't think they're legit. The tins are fairly standard US release stuff. Again, probably not worth your time since they're literally everywhere. I think I got them at Hot Topic...Oh, and I'll give you the wall scroll for free. ^_^

Woops, forgot Serenity. I'd like to sell them as a set (Usagi in Pj's came out at the same time). I'd sell them both for $30. Again, they're in great condition.
