I tried to get pricing/availability on phone service and internet. Our complex is weird. They have their own cable contract, so we can't get Knology or Comcast. That would have made life easier since I'd get cable and internet through them, then pick up Vonage for phone. But noooo! Now I'm overpaying for cable ($42 for 35 channels. No digital!), overpaying for phone ($30pm for local only), and can't set up internet till move-in day. Fuck a duck here people! I can't catch a freaking break! Half the places I want to get service from aren't available where I am either. No Verizon (best price), no Earthlink, nothing. I'm stuck with Hell South...My only consolation is that when the net is set up I can cancel AT&T and switch to Vonage. Note to the Vonage bots. If you offer internet service you'll get more customers.
Otherwise the stress level is starting to go down a little bit. Went to the store last night and loaded up on cleaning supplies, TP, and various soaps. It only cost me $30. Dollar Tree rules!! Most of it is going to stay in the back of my car till moving day since my room is quickly filling up with boxes. Thankfully Dad's going to let me drive his Jeep on MD. It's got waaay more room in it than my bitty car does. Unfortuantly the gas is horrible. Ah well.
Other than that things are normalish. No Lowes for me tonight. Woot! I'm going to watch NCIS and go to bed early. Ah, the good life!
