Counting down

Today Barry and I hit our 2 year anniversary. I think he kinda forgot because when I talked about it to him on Friday he had the 'oh crap!' look on his face. I polietly informed him that there wouldn't be any reminders next year. I got him an absenth spoon and a french absenth poster. He got me 'I love Katamari' for PS2. All good. ^_^
Dragonquest got a little ruined for me. Barry finished it last night and I saw the whole ending. Damnit! I should have left the room. Now I'm totally uninspiried to play. Damnit!!
Had a bit of internal drama this weekend. On Friday they posted the next week's schedule for Lowe's. It pissed me off. I don't like not having a day off for over 2 weeks. I seriously considered quitting. Loooong story short, I was so upset my stomach revolted. Thank kami-sama for the massive quantites of trash cans at the front registers. I didn't leave early though, but I called out sick on Saturday. I probably could have sucked it up and went, but I was too upset to care. It worked out for the best though. I'm going to stay there till January. By doing so I'll have 4 credit cards paid off and money for Christmas. D*con is a little up in the air, but if I can get enough roomies and just buy a Saturday pass I should be ok. Who needs to eat at a con anyway?
19 days till the move. I'm starting to sketch out the moving details. I'm hoping I can get away with putting in an hour at work. Two max. I'm going in at 7, which means a 5 am wake up at least. Stupid traffic. With luck, and with enough help, we'll be able to get 80% of our stuff into the apartment. The most important is the storage unit since it MUST be empty by 6pm or I have to shell out more bucks. Boo! After that it's my room, then Barry's room. We'll have to wait till Saturday to get the stuff from Andy's place, which includes most of the living room and the washer. I only hope it won't take forever to arrange everything.
My co-workers are getting quite the laugh from my apartment antics. Kim says she's never seen anyone plan as much as I have. That's when I remind her that I've been working on this for 4 months. That's a lot of thinking time. Right now I'm trying not to beat a dead horse, but it's hard. I'm so ready to get this over with, and there's quite a few things I can't do too far in advance. Power, TV, and general rent is taken care of, which leaves phone, internet, and the new storage unit. Bugger.
*sigh* I need chocolate...
