morganskyeI didn't do much this weekend. Worked out, played a little WoW (lvl up yay!), and did some laundry. I took down Christmas, which actually took less time then putting it up. When I shuffled/pitched/gave away my excess I planned ahead for packing the other stuff up. Alright forethought!! It's currently in the car waiting to be taken to storage. Ugh, I really need to sort my unit out. It's a mess!
I watched Julie and Julia this weekend and it was as cute as promised. Although it does make me sad the the former Mrs. Child didn't like Julie (she thought Julie's blog was a 'stunt') and they never met. :(
I also tried to watch Twilight. Ew. Seriously. However I will read the book. Hopefully I'll like that more. I just wasn't feeling Bella. "I'm pretty, and everyone is fawning over me, but I'm going to be emo anyway." Sorry Twi-lovers, but at least I also bitch about Harry Potter even though I adore the series. I'm very keen on seeing New Moon for ALLLL the wrong reasons. ;P
I did a little clothes shopping this weekend. I hit Lane Bryant first for their massive sale and spent $200 far too easily. Then I went to Goodwill with Jessica and spent $30 on 4 shirts, 1 sweater, 2 pairs of shoes, and one purse. The shoes and purse need TLC, but the clothes are ready to roll. I'm wearing the sweater now and it's a 22/24! Yay! Down a size! Now if only my pants would follow the example...
For you locals (nor not so local if you're feeling up for a road trip), I'm having a SAD party. What's SAD? Why it's Singles Awareness Day! It's held on the 14th of every February. There will be food, fun, and merriment at my place that Sunday and all are welcome, single or not.
