I got about 70% of what I wanted done. Work on Saturday was alright. Free lunch and an easy time was nice. I worked on my latest x-stitch from about 9 to 1. ^_^

The corn maze was fun, but I doubt I'd do it again. The path wasn't roped off, so you could wander out wherever. Barry and I ended up coming out about 15 yards down from the real exit. It was a nice night though, and a good change from the normal. I went home after instead of staying with him since I had a tons of things to do.

Sunday was busy! I slept in a bit, then called Barry to get him up. After that it was cleaning time! My room look fantastic! I didn't get to clean up my computer though because I had to rename/format too many files. I also didn't get to the bathroom, but that's ok. It wasn't really dirty anyway. When B got in we went to the flea market so he could show me the lizard he wants, then we walked over to the fair grounds to submit my x-stitch. Yah, I'm not going to ribbon. I freaked when I saw the competition. Excellent work. I'm not anywhere close to most of the pieces. The only saving grace is that there's 3 categories (under 18, amateur, and profession). I'm defiantly amateur. When the registration lady mentioned that the judges use a magnifying glass I almost grabbed it back -_-; We'll see on Thursday what happened, but I'm not getting my hopes up. (Barry was really supportive. He's so sweet! He even gave me a pep talk this morning. Gawd I love that man! *gushes*)

After that it was lunch, then more cleaning. B went home to study, and finally I sat down to play some Half Life 2. Those stupid Combine guards are great at head shots...bastards.

Yah, when I went to the corn maze a couple years ago, we ended up out of the lot (and it's a huge lot), we went through a ditch and forced our way through (that could have been a sign things were wrong) and we were waaaaaaaaay off. Then in another one, it was so well-used that it was a free for all, you didn't have to follow the paths, since the walls were all busted through.

Hey, so did you create your cross stitch out of your BRAIN? If so, that's pretty cool. I think your work is awesome! I can show you mine, and the back (it's soooo messy). LOL. I think we were friended when I was working on the doki doki yummy chums..I made the whole set.

What is it with boys and reptiles? Lar wants one but I refuse. :P

This one was about half way between the two you did. Ah well, it was fun at least. ^_^

Sadly, I'm not good enough to come up with my own and make it look decent. It's a graph, which is better than a kit imo (althought I do kits all the time). I do want to try and make a really good Sailormoon pattern one day...*sigh*

Thanks for the encouragement! I'm so nervous about Thursday. And yes, I MUST see you work! It's better than you think. The back of mine are always hidious. Thankfully the frame hides it. It's so nice to have a crafty friend to talk to. You understand everything I babble about.

Guys are just strange. There's no other way to put it. I wouldn't mind a lizard, under certain conditions. I saw a chamelion and I couldn't stop cooing over it. I couldn't own anything that eats living things though. B knows this, so it should turn out ok...
