Yup, that's some storm.

*rolls eyes* The streets were EMPTY as I drove into work. Seriously, no one was out there. I'm guessing a lot of people had to take time off because of the schools. Most are closed, if not they're only doing a few hours (which is pointless). And then there are the schmucks like me who have to come into work. >_< We're hoping to get to leave early, but that won't happen unless they decide to close the bridges. Ugh! Not that I truly mind. I'm OUT of any paid leave, so if I'm not working I'm not getting diddly.
This brings me to another 'dagnabbit!' moment. Our fiscal year ended on 8/31. This is also the deadline for open enrollment for benefits. So if you decide to get...oh I dunno...supplemental insurance and increase both your Federal Health Savings Accounts AND your 401k, then you'll have another $10 a week taken out of your pay until raises come around in January. So I've got 4 months of suckage. While $10 a week isn't bad, it translates to $40 a month. That's a bill to me. Hell, that's nearly my birth control Rx. Yes, I have an expencive brand, but omg LOVE Nuvaring. Sorry, TMI. ^_^ Actually I'm really not that mad. Honestly, I'd be spending that cash on something bad, like junk food or toys. It's better that it's taken out before I see it. Now if only I could get my damn savings account going...
And now I must work because I heard the boss walk in. Fun!
