Starting to feel it

Whenever I plan on going to a con, and then the plans fail, I always get this funny feeling in my stomach when said con approaches. It's a mixture of loss, disappointment, and anger. Suxxors.
My monthly is also late, which isn't helping things.
My work desk is a mess. I have filing everywhere along with piles of paperwork that needs to be sorted and reported in one way or another. I really want to go out to lunch today, but I won't because I be broke-ass broke. Actually, my account says I have $50 available, but I don't believe it. Something in my brain says 'Don't touch it!!' so I won't. Bah. Also, my insurance hasn't been deducted from my account and it's almost time for the next payment. I called about 2 weeks ago about it and they said that they were switching systems and it was nothing to worry about. Yeah, after my last place canceled me for 'non-payment' I think I'm going to stress thanks.
Edit: I called my ins and it's a technical issue on their side. Instead of being able to automatically take out the money they're having to do everything manually. My policy went into effect on the 12th. Phew!
Honestly, nothing else is going on atm. Work is work, and my social life is nil. *sniffle* I wish I was going to D*C!!
