I know, it's a rehash of a previous post, but I've got nothing else to talk about...

Edit:Actually, it's not a rehash. I'm thinking of an email. Gomen

I can't wait for my shift to be over tonight! I'm going to head over to B's for the night. Even though his bed is terrible I always get a good night's sleep. *wink wink* Anyway, I have work at SEG from 9-5:30. I figure if it's not too busy I'll get caught up on some of the paperwork that's been piling up. Thankfully it's nothing I need to be at my desk for, so working up front won't be a problem. I might even have a chance to work on my needlepoint.

After work it's a quick dinner with B, and then if the weather holds it's off to the corn maze on John's Island. *crosses fingers* Please let the weather hold!! I'm really excited about the maze. It's been ages since I've done one, and this baby is almost 3 acers. Good thing it doesn't close till 10.

Sunday is filled with cleaning cleaning and more cleaning! The storage unit is first. I need to make room for 2 dressers, and hopefully find the Christmas cards I bought last year and forgot about. Then it's the bedroom, bath, ironing, laundry, wash/clean car, and straighten up nearly everything I own. Bah! So busy! Plus I need to enter my x-stitch project into the fair. I'll post a pic when I get a camera back from the sales people. Grr.

I've been thinking more and more about getting a gastric by-pass. I know there's a lot of risk, including death, but I just can't see any other way. I've tried so many diets and nothing works. Perhaps if I quit Lowes (ha ha) and went to the gym for 2 hours a night I *might* lose some weight. I've been hearing about a new development where they put plastic bands around the stomach. They don't take anything away, and can be removed later if there are problems, or if the patient has lost enough weight. It seems safer, and it's not permanent so I could be able to have my yearly lobster tail...still, it's expensive and I still want to get lasic for my eyes. *sigh* Wish I had won the lottery...

A HS friend of mine had the old procedure done on her. She lost weight rapidly, but I think she gained some back somehow (maybe they took out the staples). I had heard about this new procedure that uses the bands and it sounds like things are better than they have been before. It's up to you of course, but personally I'd go for the eyes first since it's less expensive (compared to the operation) and you can't make your eyesight better on your own but you can make your body better (for all intents and purposes, I know you've tried really hard, but I hope you get what I'm saying). Good luck. :)

I think I will do the eyes first. I'll give the diet another shot, and I do understand what you're saying. ^_^
