morganskyeBarry was at the Toyota dealership this morning to find out why the engine light was on. He goes there because they only charge $45 for a system check while Firestone charges $100. Anyway, he found out that his CPU is dying. It's going to cost $1300 to fix. That's a dealer's price, however I'm not sure how much better it'll be if we go someplace else.
This now presents a problem. His car is a 98 Toyota...something. It seems to have problems fairly regularly. Should we try to fix it, or get a new car? Either option is out of our price range. Since I don't have OT anymore I have nearly $0 free income, so I'm of no help. He's trying to get back into school too, which really takes priority.

I get the feeling that Barry will tell me that he won't be going to Dragoncon this year. That will completely suck, but I can't make it him spend money that he needs elsewhere. IF that happens then the room rate will go up by $20 per person. I don't want to do that, but I can't afford to take on the extra $110.
*sigh* I'm really trying not to stress, but it's hard. Between getting married, D*C, and our own con...it just feels like I'm broke. I've GOT to get that PT seasonal job or I'm f'ed hardcore.
