Weekend update

morganskyeNot much went on this weekend. I worked Saturday, then was bit by the cleaning bug when I got home. I finally organized my manga and shelved the new stuff. I'm at 100% capacity! Seriously, I can't fit another book on my shelves without it looking like crap. -_-; It wouldn't be to bad if I had room for another bookcase, but anyone who's been to my apt knows that'll never happen. Ugh.
I also cleaned up my craft trunk. I found HUGE bags of felt and fleece. Looks like I'll be trying my hand at plushies. ^_^ I'm also going to attempt to finish all those character pillows I wanted to make, like B-ko and Beast Boy. I found my face sketches of him. Gee, I didn't know I could draw! lol Before I can do that I have two nearly finished x-stitch projects, as well as another whole piece to do. I want to finish my previous messes before starting new ones.
Last night B and I watched the Dr. Seuss cake challenge on Food Net. It was pretty cool, but I didn't see the usual 'omg wow!' cakes that you usually get. It was fairly easy to spot the winner (even though the one I wanted to win didn't), but it was still fun to see them making everything. After that was the Cake battle for Ultimate Recipe Showdown. We were both drooling! I think I gained weight just watching!
I finally took off my nail polish from my manicure last weekend. It was a bit of a rush job because 1) I did it 5 minutes before leaving for work, 2) It was soooo thick! I used one cotton ball per nail to get it all off. My fingers are still slightly pink. I'll need to clean them again tonight. I'm feeling so girly lately. I'm even wearing makeup today! Holy Crap!!
