I've lost another pound.
*sits in wonder*
I haven't been to the gym since Thursday, which is only two days so I really shouldn't be down on myself for that. It's just...odd. I'm now at 304.8 according to the scale, so that's 3 lbs in a week. Heh, I might actually make my goal if my body keeps doing what it's doing. Of course now that I've mentioned it...
I started really sewing the overalls last night. The project is much easier than I thought it would be. I've finished the top half with minimal seam ripping and swearing. The pants part...Well there's good news and bad news.
The good news is that I'm not as much of a fat ass as I thought I was!!
The bad news is that I'm not as much of a fat ass as I thought I was.
The pants too big. WAAAAY too big. I've got from 2-7 inches of excess fabric on EACH leg. This means I'm wearing ruddy clown pants if I finish it as it stands. So tonight I'm going to be doing some seam ripping and re-cutting. I might just have Barry chalk me up, pop the outside leg seams, and re-sew them. This might not work, but it's worth a shot. I'm not terribly upset about the pants. After all, it means I'm smaller that my mind thinks I am. Plus, tis far far better to have to take something in then going to the store to buy more fabric. *nods sagely* Either way I see no reason why they won't be finished by tomorrow. That will just leave the shoes and then I'm GOLD!!
Of course I still have to pack...and wash clothes...and finish shopping...Thank goodness I'm not leaving till Thursday!
I found my OLD blue wig from college. Wow, I don't know what the hell I was doing when I bought that. It's really low quality and feels almost oily from age. I thought about pitching it, but I might try my hand at a party wig instead. I'll need to reinforce the seams. I found a few popping, assumably from age. I'll try my hand at it and see what happens.
