Plus many many many more curse words.
Apparently it was NOT my day to make my Loo-Kee overalls. I started cutting the pattern out last night, finishing this morning. I had placed my final pattern, which was one that needed to be placed on the fold. Since I was having to add to it, it sat about an inch away from the fold line....which is where I started cutting. Two seconds after my rotary cutter hit the fabric, eternally slicing my LAST PIECE OF FABRIC I began screaming like a banshee who just threw away a winning lotto ticket. I think I scared Barry. -_-; After crying/pouting/throwing things, I finally said 'F IT' and finished cutting out the piece. Eventually I dug through my stash of scraps and found a piece of interfacing. After a few minutes begging my iron to work I was able to 'fix' the cuts (it was on the fold, remember?). Thankfully this particular piece is mainly on the inside, so unless you have eagle eyes you won't see it. Still, it was a bozo move on my end.
Let's fast forward a few hours. I've cut all the pieces, figured out how they'll fit, broke out my sewing machine, and sat down to sew this biznatch and get it out of the way!
-_-;
No dice. Sewing machine hate me. *cries screams and kicks puppies*
I have NO idea why it won't work. I think it's a tension issue, but I'm not sure. I'm taking it to Mom the Sewing Queen tomorrow to see if she can figure out what went wrong. I'm not a moron, but damn I'm stumped. I think it might also need a servicing. I haven't used it much, but it is 4+ years old. *pounds head on desk* JUST when I ready to finish this crap THIS happens to me. I swear, what did I do to piss off the Sewing Gods? Isn't it bad enough I have to do all of my craft work on a small kitchen table? Or that my cutting board is warped beyond reasonable use? *sigh* Ah well, worse come to worse I can use one of Mom's three machines...Yes, she does have three machines...in current use. She's got more. *rolls eyes*
Ok, I'm done ranting. Sorry. ^_^
