One step closer to being debt free

morganskyeI paid off my student loan today. It wasn't a very large one, but it cost me $50 a month. Having it gone gives me more $$$ to pay to other bills. Yay!
I also got notification yesterday that my stock transfer/sale when through. Mom bought a share of Hershey Chocolate and Disney for me years ago. They were supposed to transfer to me when I hit 18, but for some reason neither of them did. Anyway, I noticed that on the transfer paperwork there's an option to sell some or all of the stock. After being ignored for years I had 17 shares of Hershey. Sweet, no? I sold 12 and kept 5, which means that I have a check for nearly $600 on its way. Can you say 'One less credit card to pay on?' I can!!

aarana do you want to come down here for a visit? Or would you rather me send you the difference of the airline ticket? Or I could buy a whole bunch of manga for you or something. Your choice. ^_^
