Weekend Review

I worked out after work on Friday. I think I overdid it because my arms still hurt. -_-; We went to Walmart later that night. I picked up the last of the bits for Umbridge (comb for the hat and nylons). After that it was home to vegg till bedtime.
Worked Saturday, then chilaxed for the rest of the night.
Sunday was busy-busy-busy then dead. Work up early, then went to breakfast with B. I dropped him off at home so I could head off to M&D's. Mom and I worked on a new wand purse while, unbeknown to me, Dad was making me a new wand. It's darker, thinner, and longer than my Alivan's wand. It doesn't have the weight either, but I love it because it's unique. Dad also carved a snake on the handle (which rocked because I didn't even ask him to do it). It's not his best work, but considering he did it in less than an hour I'm thrilled. ^_^ I still have to finish the ribbon handles on the wand bag, but other than that I'm ready to roll for Wednesday. I even ironed my dress ahead of time instead of freaking out Tuesday night. Woot!
After M&D's I went over to Michelle's to drop off some soap. She wasn't home, so I left it on the porch. When I checked my email later that night she said she got them. She also told me some sad news, and that she wouldn't really be home till August because of it. Boo. I miss her. She's awesome, but I totally understand that she's got her own life to live. I just hope everything works out.
We were supposed to play D&D last night, but Terrance has come down with Strep, so no game till he's feeling better. He was going to go to the mcchris concert with me, but I don't know if he should now. It's late at night and he'll have work the next day. I guess I'll just wait and see.
Oh D*C group! Are any of you planning on paying for your share of the room with a check? I need to know now because I'm making adjustments to my credit card to handle the room. Basically I'm taking my 'free cash' to pay off the card, then using what you guys pay for the room as my spending loot. I prefer it that way so I'll have less cash on hand on my way there. Never hurts to take precautions.
