Depressed...

and a little dizzy...
As I mentioned a few entries ago, my computer died. This left us without either tower, so we bought a laptop. The laptop is fine, but now the last of my neato computer gadgets has failed me. I have an 80g external harddrive that I use to hold the anime that I'm either watching/waiting to watch/will burn to backup disks. Anyway, when my tower died I wasn't terribly concerned. I had a decent portion of them on my ExH. Well I tried to plug it into my laptop this weekend. Nothing happened. NOTHING! It was getting power, but the drive didn't do anything. Fucking great. The real problem with this is that I don't know if it can be retrieved. It's not like a regular drive. *curses more* I emailed Maxtor (the maker), but I don't expect a responce back. It's barely a year old and already broken. *curse curse* So sucky. I don't care about replacing it. That's easy. I want the stuff on it.
On a lighter note, the showing of Howls was nice. The library has its own showing room. While the chairs could be better, it was still a good time. I eagerly await the anime club meeting.
