morganskyeIt's a day to cuddle down with a cat, a blanket, and a good book. It's a little chilly and overcast outside. It's supposed to rain tonight too. I so want to sleep right now!
Went to the mall at lunch to return two pairs of jeans. What a nightmare! Ah well, it's done so now I have jeans that fit. I also found out my ring size, and casually informed Barry. He took it well. ^_^
I'm debating on whether or not I should put my tv into storage. Barry as a 32in, and a 28in on hold at Walmart. My little 19" is soooo oooold. I've had it since high school, so it's about 10 years old. *snicker* She's so old all she has is a direct cable hook-up. No A/V plugs to be found. I'm amazed it's lasted this long. Then again, I've barely used it the past 2 years. I think I'll probably pack her away. Poor thing. Speaking of which, I sprung for a DVD/VCR combo player. Yah, I don't have tons of tapes anymore, but there are a few things that aren't out on DVD, like the She-ra and He-man X-mas special. That's a keeper! That and Liquid Television...

I loved it for their unique tv shows, like Downtown, The State, and Daria. Liquid TV and AMP was my life-blood in high school. Aeon Flux was my queen. Now it's all rap guys thanking God for being able to get paid for swearing. That and reality tv. I really really really REALLY hate reality tv. I can stand about 10 minutes of any given show, tops. Even Amazing Race, which is a good show, gets me pissed off in record time. Anyway, my hate for MTV probably wouldn't burn with the force of 1000 suns if they would just get off their damn asses and put some of their shows on DVD. Is it so freaking hard to put out a Daria boxset? I think the only reason why Aeon Flux got one was because of the movie. Damnit! I would totally buy Downtown instead of watching crappy tv rips that I got from torrent. There's a Sailormoon reference in it. I HAVE to buy it just for that! Liquid TV was put out on tape, and there is a DVD, but it's overpriced and terrible. I mean just terrible! However, the biggest catch would have to be Cartoon Sushi. No show made me love MTV more. I have a few eps on tape, but they're crap quality. That show was so cool...*sniffle* Damn you MTV!! Get your dignity back and do something cool for once!! *cries*
