Another day another dollar, but at least I'm feeling a bit perky. Perhaps it's because I'm on my third Mingus Dew...
Anyway!
amayagoddess!!! *holds something sparkly in front of her* If you come see me after I move I'll give you the pretty thing I bought for yoooouuuu! Bribery RULES! Props to
merryshannon for the 'shiny things' link.
Tonight starts the vicious Lowes schedule cycle. I work tonight, off tomorrow (thank goodness), then work Friday through Monday. Good bye weekends! Hello 100 days of hell. For those who haven't worked at Lowes, I'm referring to the "100 days of Spring". Basically it's our peak of the year. And no, it's not really 100 days, but it's close. When the 100 days hits, schedules go up, people stop getting time off, and everyone gets hot and bitchy. Poor garden department. Val lost 50lbs last year from the heat....Damnit! I wanna work in garden!! What does this mean for little old me? Real days off will now be a thing of the past. If I'm lucky I'll have an earlier schedule, or at least a shorter shift. Probably won't happen though. I keep telling myself I need the money. I have a goal to reach before I can quit.
Debt:
Household bank $700
Capital One #1 $400
Capital One #2 $600
Capital One #3 $300
Firestone $300
If my nerves and feet hold up, I'll also stay long enough to pay off my emergency room bill, and perhaps even my student loan. We'll see.
Might drag Barry off to see V for Vendetta at some point. We think it's funny that DC Comics is keeping its name off of it. *rolls eyes* Sadly it's not unusual. Comic movies were shunned by normal people for aaaages. I'm sure DC is still scared about that, even as they roll around in Batman money. Personally I just want to roll around with Batman. *evil grin*
Anyway!
