Out with the old...

morganskyeI can hardly believe it's a new year. Much less that's it's already the 3rd and I haven't posted. The horror!
I had fun this weekend. Barry and I were supposed to go to a party Friday night, but somehow the directions got totally screwed up. We ended up in Florence (2 hours from here. don't ask). Since the party was now the last thing we wanted to go to, we instead stopped for dinner at Cracker Barrel. Barry had never been, and I felt his life wouldn't be complete without it. I hope the sarcasm is showing. It was a very...interesting dinner. *wicked grin*
I was sucked into the mall on Saturday. Since B and I were at the Dragon anyway we decided to cruise on through...$200 dollars later I was several manga, one Wonder Woman calender, and a really cool Batman messenger bag richer. We also stopped at Best Buy where I picked up Project A-ko 5/6 for $7 and Dirty Pair movies and OVA for $20 each. Bastards at ADV!!! I bought the first DP OVA on dvd when it came out. Cost me $20 and had 2 eps. Now I had to buy the box set just to get the whole thing. I want my money back!! *growl*
The rest of Saturday was mellow. I watched tv while Barry studied. Didn't go out, or get drunk. But it was fun all the same. *wink wink*
I worked on Sunday (boo!) but it went by pretty quickly. Since I wasn't closing I wasn't stuck cleaning or anything. More money for me!
Monday morning B and I drove around to some apartment complexes. Archdale is still our fave. It's very woodsy and quaint. I like it. It's old though, so who knows what the inside looks like. Ah well. It's affordable and in a decent area.
In other news, I've had to postpone making Pepper. I just don't have time to make her like she should be. I'm keeping an eye out for something easy. I'm seriously running out of time.
Also, I've found my next tattoo. I'm thinking lower back. I'm going to wait till I hit my goal weight (150ish) and get this as my reward.
