Worry time!

Well, Barry's in surgery right now at Roper. Or at least in the OR. *sits and fidgets for a few hours* ARGH! Let's rewind and start again from yesterday evening.
Apparently my sweetie wanted to prove just how sweet he is by taking me to Penacio's for dinner last night. OMG SO GOOD!!! The place is a little pricy, and it looks like a hole in the wall, but once you start eating there you never stop. It's every inch Italian. *drools* I'd go there for lunch if I could afford it. We had lobster bisque, salad (amazing house dressing), wine, and pasta. I had four cheese ravioli with alfredo sauce and he had a *huge* piece of lasanga. I got a canolli to go. *melts* It's our new fave place. I figure we'll save it for special occasions. Bonus is it's only 2 minutes from his apartment. Wee!
Anyway, fast forward to this morning. We were up at 4ish to get to the hospital at 6. After waiting and waiting and waiting they took him off to the OR. I was proud of myself. I didn't cry at all! I get really emotional when someone I love is in the hospital, which would explain why my parents don't tell me about their visits. They're nothing serious, but enough to get me a bit worked up.
He should be out around the same time I get off from work. I have his parking pass so it'll be free to grab him and go. Traffic will be a bear, but that's what happens. It's just a shame they wouldn't do it at St. Francis, which is spitting distance from my job and his place. Bah.
Everything will be fine. Worst is they'll keep in overnight for observation. No biggie.
