Monthly Weight Check-In #2

Apparently I was exactly the same from last month down to the decimal point. Weight/water/BMI/etc were so close to the same it was like I didn't budge. However I'm taking this as a win because I didn't gain. I can lose weight but I gain it back quickly. This time I didn't, so this is good.
I've been given clearance to work out so that's what I'm doing. Dr. Amy suggested I poke around the Prevention website for workout ideas, and this is what I found. It's a 1 hour/4 times weekly workout that doesn't require anything more than good shoes and a place to walk. Even a tight-wad like me has good shoes. :)

Date: 2012-06-08 03:09 pm (UTC)Oooh! I want to recommend any of Leslie Sansone's workout tapes. In particular, I really like her 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk, which you can get for like 8 bucks at Wal-Mart. The workout goes really fast, you can do however many miles you want, and it's low impact (I've got to start watching my knees and my feet- both my parents have problems with theirs). Oh, and you don't need a whole lot of room to do the workout (I do it in my tiny craft room), and NO special equipment.
You can probably find some a few of her tapes/dvds at your local library to try her out first.
