Mellow Weekend

Friday started with helping a friend move. Turns out it was far easier then expected. I was only needed for transportation not schlepping. Three trips and I was done! :D

Saturday was a little busy. Did the dishes, mopped, cleaned the kitty poop stations, etc. I also hit up Hancocks for patterns since the on by work was out of stock. On the flip side they didn't have the fabric I needed to it's BACK to the one by work today. UGH! Ah well, I'd rather have two stores with different stock then be forced to drive to Columbia to get what I need. Anyway, after that I put together a plan of attack for the next two weeks and hunted for the necessary supplies.

Sunday was a 100% slacker day. All my plans were shot in the face, which was fine. XD Owen decided to stay overnight, which is why nothing got done. I swear I get more completed without him for an hour then I do with him all day long. He's a complete distraction! Good thing I love him. Hehe!

5/24 - Basic apron for hosting dress (2hrs) - LCM vocals
5/25 - 1hr LCM dance - paint T's apron
5/26 - New Klingon shirt (3hrs) - bracers for K and T (2hrs) - K skirt (30min)
5/27 - T skirt (1hr) - adjust jacket (too baggy) - LCM vocals
5/28 - Grocery Shopping
5/29 - Zumba class - 1hr LCM dance
5/30 - *left open for last minute fixes*
5/31 - pick up Wesley from daycare - pack for ConCarolinas (4 costumes)
6/1 - head out to CC!

Jason went to MACE something this past weekend in Charlotte. I missed him, but I GOT SO MUCH DONE, costume wise.

Unfortunately, I'm up against a mental sewing block right now, when I have a few things to finish.

lol, it's funny how just being around our men makes productivity drop. I'm kind of glad he'll be at Animezement (I will never spell this right) this weekend so I can get stuff done.

I'm not entirely sure at this point XD, actually. Probably my new battle dress padme, since it's easy to throw on. I"m only going to be there friday/saturday, so my saturday evening costume needs to be something I can change out of quickly and be able to drive in. Maybe I'll bring human rarity?

Oh! and Karma for Contemporal. So it may be a blue-free weekend.

Also green with yellow polka-dot paper doesn't exist. Looks like I'll be making my own. So much for an easy costume! lol!

Close enough for me. I'm thinking that so long as the paper is green with dots I'm good. I found some green w/ white, but they wanted $25 for it. O_O

Yep! The first full week in June we'll be going to Myrtle Beach again this year. Not for the entire week, though. Gotta have some down time before going back to work.
