Sneaking a post

morganskyeNormally on Tuesdays I'm cut off from the net due to computer shenanigans, but my comp is down so I'm using the one at consierge. However this comp is ANCIENT and also apparently doesn't support right clicking or spell check in Explorer...yes, it's on Explorer and I can't do a thing about it. So sadly you're going to have to suffer my horrible spelling. Bwahaha!! And yes I know that LJ has spell check, but it's saying that everything I've typed is wrong. Boo.
The weekend was nice. Friday night was my Klingon ship's meeting, which was a blast as always. If I don't have a good time with my girls then I must be dead. XD We talked about future cons, charity events, and random silliness.
Saturday Owen came down early since none of his students showed up. :( It was nice to have him there although he walked in right when I was wrapping his anniversary present. lol! I got him a shirt, collapsable shot glass, and bacon-scented hand sanitizer from thinkgeek.com. He got me a fridge buddy (it talks to you when you keep the door open too long). We had a good lunch, then went to see the Avengers that night. Good times. ^_^
On Sunday mid-morning we went to see M&D. They surprised us with lunch at a nice restaurant for Mother's Day. I just wish we'd gotten a little notice since Owen and I were wearing jeans/t-shirts. Ah well. After that I drug Owen to Hancock Fabrics, but I couldn't find what I needed in the right color. I did snag some patterns for $1.99 and cording for a dress so it wasn't a complete loss. Owen headed home shortly after to see his mom, so I spent the evening doing a little straightening up and playing Minecraft on Xbox. Yeah, it's total crack. lol!
So there's my weekend. Lah-dee-dah!
