I kinda had a date on Saturday. :)

His name is Owen. I met him at Nashicon. He was dressed as Terry from Fatal Fury. There was instant fangirl squeeing. :)

He came to the party I had two weekends again, then again solo this past Saturday. We went to see Ironman 2, then watched Men in Tights. I put my foot in his lap and he was cool with it. lol!

I won't gush because honestly I'm taking it all very slowly. The old me would have already bedded him and been plotting how to get him back there as often as possible. This time? I haven't even kissed him yet. I'm very proud of myself.

When I'm around him I feel comfortable. I know that I can be myself (minus the toned down sex kitten part), and that's honestly what I need right now.

He's coming back next Saturday. I have no idea what we're going to do, but I'm sure at some point I'll give him a smooch on the cheek. ;P

I appreciate it, but it's not so much a place to stay as the entire trip is unaffordable. :( Hotel/reg/blah. Besides, I need some real time off to myself. I feel like I haven't truly slept in years.

The only thing I'm frightened of is never being able to truly trust someone again. The fact that I'm willing to get into a relationship proves that I at least want to try. :)
