Weekend at Morgan's - IMPORTANT

I think I'm going to postpone W@M's for a variety of reasons.

1) Moolah. I be broke.
2) Not many people are able to make it.
3) ConCarolinas is the weekend after, so in order to have Friday off I have to work Monday (Memorial Day).

Therefore I'm voting that we move it to the weekend of July 4th (7/4 is on a Sunday). It gives me more time to save up bucks for fun foodie stuff, and everyone else more time to schedule days off, save up, etc. Plus I know some people couldn't make it because Animazement is the same weekend. I'm hoping that by moving it I'll have more people able to come.

Thoughts?

Are you having it on July 4th or the weekend of July 4th? We do a July 4th cookout with my family every year with fireworks, so I'll be busy on the 4th. :(

Wooo! We have a much better chance of making it to that one! I was thinking about W@M's just this morning, and I don't think we would have been able to make Memorial Day :( We have a metric butt-ton of stuff that needs to be done to the house, and I can't take any days off between now and then to do it. Sooooo, realistically, Memorial Day for us will be a workapalooza of painting, digging, and patching. But July 4th weekend should be clear!
