I've been making a small list to prepare for single living.

~slow cooker with digital timer since I'm not sure when I'll be home at night.
~heavy curtains to block back door (security)
~programmable light switch for front porch light.

Honestly that's about it. Nearly everything in the apt is mine save for some bits of unnecessary furniture. It will be nice to spread out a bit.

Now if only I could make the rejected feeling go away.

I agree with muntahz- you're on to bigger and better things. You'll be single at Dragon*Con and surrounded by eligible nerds! Also, it's like I recently told a friend who realized that getting back with her ex would probably never happen- It takes time to get used to being alone after being in a relationship for so long, but it will get easier. Take some time to focus on YOU.
