Another lovely weekend gone

morganskyeWe put up the tree yesterday. It's HUGE. We got a 9-footer for $40, which is amazing. It's a Carolina Sapphire and it smells delicious. Kind of minty. I highly recommend it. Our whole house smells amazing.
Made cookies and soap too. And no, not at the same time. Did the standard cookie fare; fruit, oatmeal, coconut balls, etc. I have more to do, but I'm not up to it right now. I did crank out about a dozen 'festive' soaps. Apparently my molds are politically correct. Lots of snowflakes and wreaths. Only three came out badly from the color, so I'll keep those for the shower. Glycerin soap is great for the skin, but it just melts like ice cream. And don't worry, I use vegetable based stuff. No animal/human by-products for me! Um...yah.
Got into work this morning to find that someone messed with my computer. This pisses me off to no end. It's locked for a reason people! I run back-ups for all three servers on my comp, which means that no one should be messing with it. Sadly though since mine is closest to the breakroom the sales people will use it to do whatever it is they do. No amount of bitching will stop it. This is the major thorn in my side here. I can't really customize my computer. I can't change my password (every's pass is their birthday, which is good and bad). I can't install firefox or any other major changes on my comp b/c it's still technically able to be used by everyone. *grumbles* I'm admin damnit! There's a reason why we have one. I'm fucking special for a damned reason!!! *bitch whine whine* Point of interest for our servers. We have one Windows (net and mail), Unix (storis program), and Linux (voicemail). Amazingly they talk to each other pretty well. Go figure.
Finally another begging to those who having sent me their addys for cards. For cripes sake, just send them already!! I'm pointing major fingers at Mike, Trish, Leesa, Angie, Phil, Kelly, Alyssa...Don't make me get my flying monkeys!
