This weekend was pretty cool. Spent all of Saturday with my parents. We went out around 9am and didn't get back till almost 5pm. We were going to get breakfast then get a tree. Breakfast was on schedule, but the tree never happened. We got distracted by the new-ish shopping center in 5 min from the house. We went to World Market first. There was this *gorgeous* solid wood computer desk there that I adored. So I'm getting it for Christmas. ^_^ No, I didn't yell 'buy me that'! Apparently the folks had no idea what to get me, so when they saw how much I dug it they bought it. Unfortunatly they weren't very sneaky about it. This is obvious since I know I'm getting it. I saw them carting it away while Mom and I were browsing (it had a big sign that said 'Pritchett'. Gee.) That and Dad told me later in the afternoon. He habitually does this. I guess it's to make sure I'm going to like what they give me. Anyway, I also got a new pair of shoes and two shirts (although one shrunk when I washed it).

We also saw National Treasure. It was good so long as you don't think about it. They were very vauge as to how Nick Cage figured out the clues. Otherwise it was good, but not as good as Pirates of the Carribean.

The store party went pretty well. Some people didn't show up, which ticked me off because it's money wasted, therefore I'll hear about it when I have to get the check signed. Ugh. Otherwise it was nice. Barry and I walked the plantation grounds, made stupid jokes, and I milked a cow. Wee! Dinner was nice, but dessert was better. It was over by 8 so I had plenty of time to finish playing Serious Sam. The End.

Interesting. Barry and I do prefer autumn, and I'll bet that if we've been together that long he'd go ahead and marry me since common law would have already kicked in...
