Ok, I was in Japan with friends, but I can't figure out where in Japan. I was further south because we were at the beach. The water was very light blue, but the city was built nearly right up to the edge of the water so there was little sand. We were staying with someone's uncle who ran a souvenir shop. I wandered off into downtown because I wanted to buy a purse like all the Japanese girls had. I was in pretty empty touristy store when I heard two men arguing directly behind me. I turned around to move away when I saw the first man (who was facing away from me) shoot the other man (who could see me over the first man's shoulder) in the face twice. I could see his flesh being ripped away and the blood splattering onto the displays. The first man then put the gun in his mouth and shot himself. I could feel the blood and gore on me. I still can. I remember looking down at myself and then at the men dead on the floor. I couldn't move. Someone ran over to me with a towel and pressed it against my head. Apparently the bullet that killed the first man had grazed my temple. The police came quickly and led me away from the scene to an ambulance. I gave my report (in Japanese I think) while someone went to find my friends and some clothes since I was covered in 'evidence'. The dream fades from here. I do remember seeing my friends, but I don't know any of them in real life.

I feel like I should be more affected by what I dreamed. It's not a like a movie or a video game. It felt so real. I had to take an extra-long shower just to get the phantom feeling off my skin, yet I couldn't talk to Barry about it. I guess I don't want to stress him out with my psycho dreams. It was so vivid I can still recall the layout of the uncle's shop, and the high-rise buildings that surrounded the beach. I remember how to get to the scene of the crime from the beach. I can remember my friends' faces, both when they were happy and alarmed. Are these people real? I get a lot of deja vu, so perhaps this is a sign of a future event? I hope not. While getting to Japan is a huge thing for me, I would suddenly find myself not wanting to go places if they sound like what I dreamed about.

I don't know about you but my deja vu dreams (which is a weird name for dreaming about an event before it happens o.O )...I can never remember them. It's not until the situation arises that I'm all "How the hell do I know this? AH, I dreamed it." The vividly remembered ones are usually just messed up.

For example, in high school I used to frequently dream about situations at work which would freak me out a little when the event would occur in the middle of large crowds of people. Meanwhile, the dream I remember the most involved green aliens chasing my friend and I around an intergalatic mall. o.O

I wouldn't worry about it too much ;)

Heh, you're right. I shouldn't stress. It's just a dream after all. ^_^
