I didn't tell Barry about the problem until after I called Tech Support. Long story short, $99 to fix. Apparently having to turn a machine in TWICE for the red ring means dick. >_< He cursed for a bit, then said that he wanted to buy another one tonight. O_O! No wonder he's always in debt. But it's his money and his console, so he can do what he wants. I've already resigned myself with the fact that I'll be paying for the wedding/honeymoon. He'll never accept my guidance when it comes to bills. Good thing I've insisted on separate bank accounts.

I think, when I have the cash (haha) I'll get the unit repaired myself so we'll have two boxes in the house. That way we can both play games instead of waiting for the tv to be freed up. It can wait though. Bills come first.

Btw, wish me luck. My interview is today at 1pm. cassandramorgan, how did yours go?

Mine went pretty good. The interviewer lady seemed to like me a lot so that's a good sign. It's not my ideal position because it's 8-5 (have to hustle my ass off to get Mo from after-school care) but since it's a doctor's office, they have good benefits and they pay 100% and the salary is in my price range. (She didn't say exactly but she said I was asking in the area what they were offering.)

I have another interview tomorrow at a Wawa, a local convenience store, so hopefully they will offer me tons of money for an overnight shift which will work out better.

Personally I'd go for the Doc's office. Weekends off and home in the evenings sounds good to me. Then again, I don't have a sweet little girl to take care of. ^_^

The big problem is that I have to get to the school before 6PM or we get charged $15 for every 15 minutes late. So if there's traffic on the way home, I'm screwed.

Well, we don't live that far from the school. It's like 6 houses down. All the other kids in the area that we know go to other daycares and a majority of daycares 'close' at 6. Luckily, Mo goes to dance twice a week so there are two days that I don't have to worry about it too much because my mom picks her up from dance.

Well, go with your gut. If both fit in the money range, then pick which one you're be happy with. I really can't see you at Wawa. Sheetz maybe, but that's because they have really good food for a gas station. lol!

Wouldn't it be better to pawn in the 360 to Gameslop take the money, then use that towards the new 360?

The 360 broke 3 times now. It will break a 4th, and probably sooner rather then later, so the $99 isn't a good investment I think.

360 is going to price drop next week, or in the next 2 weeks. Radio Shack advance flier is showing the price drop.

2nd option. Take the Hard Drive out, buy the gimped model, and stick the Hard Drive in. That will only cost $200 in a couple of weeks.

Gimped? You mean the 'Arcade' edition. Why they don't call it the core model anymore is anyone's guess.

I dunno about the price drop. It looks like it was supposed to happen a month ago, but when I go to BestBuy's site, it's still $350 for the Pro.

Yeah, it is now. But when advance fliers go out and get leaked early, about 90% of the time it happens. Besides, Radio Shack gets their stuff leaked all the time, since they're not too bright as a company.

Gamestop had signage up when I went there tonight. The manager also mentioned that there's a rumor of a $100 price drop right before Christmas.

Then again I may be selling my 360 if the rumors are true and the next VF is a PS3 exclusive.

Only reason I have a console is Virtua Fighter really.
