On several things actually...

First, has anyone ever used Justmanga.com? I placed an order there this morning. Their claim is that they'll get my books to me faster. So far they're estimated shipping time is no better than the usual online stores I uses. However, they're on par/cheaper than the regulars, so that's not too bad. They also have a free shipping deal going on. Admittedly, they are in the NW, so it doesn't help that my package is having to travel across a continent.

Secondly, I'm baking a Key Lime Pie for Barry for his birthday later this month. I found too good recipes, but I don't know which one to chose. Help?
Easy Key Lime Pie I
Key Lime Pie VIII

Lastly, are any of my in-state friends interested in going to RoundCon next year? They're looking for some anime-minded people to help with that track. Cosplay is a plus. They're trying to branch out and I think the more visual the group is the better it would do. I also want to try and have a manga trade table along with the viewing room.

It's a gaming con. Mainly it's RPG and tabletop, but they're trying to do more LARP and miniatures next year. They normally have an anime room, but this year there wasn't any space. They plan on doing it MUCH bigger next year.

If I'm not still wet behind the ears next year cosplay-wise I'd be interested. I'm a fast learner, and I have been to a few cons before.

As for the key lime pie, the second recipe will turn out with a lighter texture because of the pudding and cool whip. The first will be more like a custard because of the eggs. It really comes down to what you'd like your poison to be: cholesterol (egg yolks) or high fructose corn syrup (cool whip). :P

Personally, I would probably go with the first because of the whole "more natural ingredients" thing, but no bake is certainly a plus as well.

Heh, I might get motivated enough to make both and see which one he likes best. It's just a matter of keeping him out of the kitchen!

Wish I could keep mine in the kitchen. :P

We used to be fairly split on dinners, but now it seems that I'm cooking everything. I think a chore list is in order!

Agreed. Barry and I split dinner and cleaning the kitchen. He takes care of the laundry and vacuuming, while I do the bathrooms and general clean up. It works out fairly well.

I might try that first recipe: low number of ingredients + short prep time = good for busy cook.
