Sunday evening babble

The shoes are done. They suck, but they're done. I made three covers until I found a pair that was big enough. After the con I'm going to make a kick-ass set of covers, then make a tutorial because I couldn't find dick on the internet to help me. Grr! *points to pic below* I added some 'decoration' because I lost patience to make finished seams. I'll give them a good steaming before the con so the flaps lay a bit better. *deep breath* Give it to me honestly.




I 'started' packing. Essentially all I did was empty out my suitcase, shove the clothes that were in there in another bag, and rummage through the beauty stuff I have lying around. I can't really do much packing until the night before. Bonus though, I found a pair of pants I couldn't wear before. I'm wearing them now! Hehe, but don't go cheering too hard. It wasn't a 'I can't zipper these'. It was more 'meh, I'm a little uncomfortable wearing this'. Still, a victory is a victory!

Hehe, thanks. It was a nice surprise. When I get back from Katsucon I'll be kicking it into high gear. I really want to keep to my goals since I've got a long way to go. Besides, I won't use my gift card till I hit 270!
