*audience chanting* MORGAN'S....SO....STUPID!!!

Host: That's right! It's time to play 'Morgan's So Stupid: Sewing Machine Edition'! We have three contestant's today. Contestant #1, what is your answer?

C1: Morgan is so stupid...she used upholstery thread on linen!
*buzzer noise and audience awwww's in sympathy*
Host: No I'm sorry. She's done plenty of dumb things, but she hasn't done that. Contestant #2! What...is your answer?
C2: *jumps up and down, giggling* Morgan is so stupid she used a Kenmore foot on a Jenome!
Host: Judges? *dingdingding* Close, but not what we were looking for. However we'll give you half credit since yes, Morgan did do that, but the parts are interchangeable so there's no sewing penalty. OK Contestant #3. Here is your change. What is your answer?
C3: I think...Morgan is so stupid...she put the needle in backwards. *alarms sound and lights flash. the audience cheers wildly*
Host: CORRECT!!! Morgan did indeed put the needle in backwards, thus making her think her machine is broken. She then had to drive all the way across town in rush hour traffic to take it to the shop, only to get a call later from the repair guy who laughed at her stupidity. Thanks for playing everyone! G'NIGHT!!!




In my defense (of which I have none), I was only trying to do a basic hem at 10pm on the pants I was wearing the next day. I wasn't terribly alert, and also cranky from the sewing machine hassling me. Had I tried using it any other time I probably would have figured it out pretty quickly. And yes, I am seriously stupid. :(
