TMI approaching and some cursing
Oct. 24th, 2008 08:44 amArrgh! Cramps!
*storms through office Godzilla-style*
Co-worker peeking up from charred desk: Um, Morgan? Are you alright?
Me: RAWR!!! Atomic Blast!! *burns down the rest of the office*
No not really because I have an almond Snickers and a Mt. Dew that will be consumed for breakfast. DON'T JUDGE ME!!
Speaking of eating bad foods, I've devoured fried fish, burgers, chocolate, and tanker trucks full of soda this week in order to deal with the worst period I've ever had in my LIFE. Yet, somehow, even with water weight and all the other joys of this time of month, I'm down 2 pounds. O_O I eat right for a week and I stay put, yet when I pig out I lose weight? WTF mate?!
Oh, and in case you didn't hear OPEC decided to be assholes...again. They're cutting production to 'firm up pricing' (and they're making another cut before the year is over). Basically they're whining because they aren't making as much money as they were a few months ago. Wah motherfuckers. Seriously, grow up. One of the problems we're having is the high cost of goods, which was driven up by gas prices. While the cost of fuel has gone down, it will take weeks upon months for the goods pricing to revert. Everyone wants to snatch up cash while they can. While I can't blame them, a part of me wishes that people could look past the almighty dollar for two seconds in order to help the rest of us who are barely making it. My boss sent me this article showing me that half the country is richer than I am. Wow, thanks boss. You know how to cheer a girl up.
At least it's Friday. I'm going to see if I can't leave early (and use up the last of my time off) to go get new glasses. Things are deader than dead as of late, but I'm hoping it's because of the Furniture Market. We always cut back on spending before/during Market because our buyers always spend TONS of money buying up the latest stuff. *crosses fingers* I'm not worried, but if things don't start picking up within 2 weeks I get the feeling I'll be looking for a PT job a helluva lot harder...Now where the hell is my candy bar?
