I got in my car to get back to work from lunch today, and all I could think was how much I really didn't want to go back to work. Actually, I didn't want to go anywhere. I just wanted to drive, and keep driving. Didn't matter where, so long as there wasn't an end. It's probably because I'm a little weary. Not tired, but weary. It didn't help that it's a cool, overcast day, and Massive Attack's 'Teardrop' was playing. The feeling is starting to disappear now that I'm back at work.
I have glowing reviews for Warriors of Legend. It's a great read. A little textbook-ish, but forgivable considering the content. Buy one NOW!
And speaking of books, I know Sword of the Guardian is heading my way. But I'll be damned if I know where it is and when it'll get here. I was hoping to send
merryshannon the dvds I owe her along with the book so I can get it autographed. However now it's looking like I should just send the dvds alone. Argh! *pounds head on desk* I want my book!!
Looks like the weekend anime fest is a wash. Too many people already have plans. That's ok though. I need to try and find more stuff in storage. Like the power cord to my sewing machine. Damnit! I finally had time and inclination to sit down and sew. I get the machine out, plunk it down on the table, and get ready only to find that the power cord has somehow been seperated from it. *curse* Now I have no idea where it could be since it's from the Virginia move. When I left VA I literally threw things in boxes. This is bad. For example, I have figures but no bases (and vica versa), accessories with no dolls (none of my Sailormoon dolls have their talesmans/staffs), and incomplete manga series. I'm sooo loading up the car this weekend. I will have order!!!
I'm also hoping to get my anime sale together. I have several boxes sitting around of stuff that's almost ready to sell, but their missing parts (see above). It's frustrating on several levels. At least I have a clear idea of what I want to sell and keep, so that helps. Now if only I could find a few more boxes...
