I had to work on Friday night and a full shift on Saturday, so I really didn't do much till Sunday morning. Barry and I got up early to go see Charlie atCF at IMAX. Our showing started at 10am. We got there at about 9:10, so there was about 20 people ahead of us. Not too bad considering less than 20 min later there was 40 behind us. I've heard a lot of people say the movie sucked. I liked it. Then again, IMAX makes me like a lot of movies I probably wouldn't have liked. Ah well, I thought it was a good mix of the book and new ideas. Loved the set designs. The opening sequence looked AWESOME. There's nothing like 2 story-tall chocolate flying at you. All in all I liked it, but I probably won't watch it again till it's on tv.

After that we went home. I had a killer headache (lack of food, caffeine, and bright hot weather). Napped till about 2:30, puttered around till 4, then went to Barry's niece's for dinner with the family. It's so wild sometimes. They accepted me in immediately. I don't know if it's because they're like that with everyone or because they can see how much I adore my sweetie. Either way it rocks. We ate terrific homemade lasagna *drool* and dirt cake. Props to Sherrie! We also watched the reception (gawd I looked like a moron), and some of the honeymoon. All in all it was nice.

I've been thinking too hard again. I can tell that it's time for something big to happen. You see, after I've been at a FT job for a year, or 3-6 months at a PT job, I want a change. Thankfully I've gotten out of the FT change (which involved quitting my job and being poor for a few months). Sadly the PT problem still remains. I want to quit Lowes and work somewhere else. Ok, that's a problem. They pay well, the job really doesn't suck so long as I'm not working a full 8hrs. So I think since my rational thinking is kicking in, my 'I WANNA MAKE STUFF' side is working overtime to the point of considering opening a side business. Yah, that's right. I might be making soap n' stuff for fun and profit. I've been looking online, and a few sites even break down the financials for you. It's an interesting idea really. I have a few connections I could use just to test and see if what I make will sell. That way I won't be making a huge investment and get burned. If things start to work out where I can actually pay myself then I'll see about setting up something more solid. It could be fun, or I could burn out and never want to make soap again. We'll see...
