Minor disappointments and future plans

morganskyeWell, B and I have pretty much decided that we can't afford to go to Universal Studios for Halloween next year. We were going to go all out: Halloween Horror Nights, on-site hotel, express passes all around, dining out for every meal, etc. It was going to be around $2000, but with Barry's work being an ass, the money needs to go to bills instead. Ah well, I'll have more money to pay credit cards off with, which is good since I had that work done to my car, new clothes, etc. *sigh* But still...perhaps we'll take a page out of ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
amayagoddess's book and go to Carowinds for their Halloween shindig. Or perhaps go to Six Flags ATL and see tenshihitomi (and maybe a concert too!). So there's a silver lining on the cloud. And hey, if B and I ever get hitched I'm sure we'll go to Universal for the honeymoon. Then again, that's where he went with his first wife...hmm...
I know you're going to roll you eyes at me now that I've made a 'I'm paying off bills' speech, but I'm really excited about spending my OT money. lol! I have $100 to play with, and with it I'm going to 1) spend $30 at the fair. Baby bunnies and funnel cake ahoy! (28th) 2) Spend $30 for the Halloween Jail Tour and dinner with friends. (31st) 3) Spend $40 to go to the Columbia Zoo with the rest of my Star Trek fanclub (29th). Boy, that's going to be a busy weekend!!
I'm so tired this morning. I really shouldn't be since I went to be a little after 10pm. I couldn't get myself out of bed this morning for some reason. It's a shame I can't take a nap at lunch...
B bought a new video game yesterday. It's the 'Grim Adventure of Billy and Mandy' fighting game. It's pretty good, but B doesn't like it because I win more than him. It's only because I've played it more. Silly boy. ^_^

I guess because I get so much time alone with Barry I miss doing 'couples' stuff. But I also do a lot of stuff without him (ie my trip to CT/D*con/etc). Plus I haven't seen YOU in ages. I miss my sis. Anyway, enjoy your trip. Tell me if it's good or not. I've never done the Scarowinds bit before. Then again, I need to drop a few lbs if I want to fit into the rollercoasters (which is the main reason to go imo).

By the time we're free Halloween's over. *pout* I think we're going to come over when the park re-opens for summer. Since school's still in it shouldn't be too bad, I hope. It's been so long since I've been there. I remember when the Riddler coaster was still the Mindbender. Heck, I don't even know if it's still the Riddler...
