A meme has been going around where you make a 'doll' of a particular person. This one is for my best friend, whom I miss dearly and wish that we lived a closer life like we used to. While I know that things change, and that we can't always be with those we love, I still wish things were different. Ah well, I've always been greedy when it comes to her. Perhaps I can finally convince her to go to a con with me, or even take a girl's only weekend. We'll see.

I love the elouai doll maker. I actually used that same hair and the panda barettes when I did my doll forever ago. ^^ I'd post it, but it's on my dead hard drive. Wish I was that skinny for a day! :P

I miss you too, ane. I was thinking about you this morning in the shower (oh la la!) because it's been a while since I drove down there to catch lunch with you. Can I come down next Tuesday or Thursday? I'll be going full time in June, so I won't have a chance to do that anymore.

Not everything is set in stone, though. While I would love to live out here and build a house on this land, my mother-in-law has always teetered about leaving here and selling that land (don't ask, long story). I don't know if she ever will want to leave, but if they did leave, we might as well too. You know I've always wanted my kids to go to Summerville High School, so we shall see.

Heh, I was poking around and saw the barettes. I instantly thought 'I should do an Erin doll!'. I didn't get the nose quite right, but everything else is dead on imo. I tried to do a doll of myself, but I can't get it to look right. Bah.

You can come for lunch whenever you want to babe. Just give me around before 10am at work to let me know. ^_^ (556-4663 jic)

It'd be nice if you moved back to S'ville. Goodness knows it's closer than where you are now. B and I want to live in WA since we both work out here, but it's so bloody expencive that S'ville will probably have to do (we think more about commute than anything else).

Do you know yet if you can make the s-n-b on the 20th?

I'm 80% sure I can make it to the snb. I might be kinda tired (from ripping up floors and such Friday night), but I don't know if they'll need us on Saturday or not. This week at Melcer has been so busy it's not funny. T_T I'm really starting to think they need to hire some more people all around. I'll try my best to weasel my way out of Saturday if it becomes a problem. :P

^_^ Then it did it's job. I now have a lunch date with my best bud. It also made me realize that most of my good friends (or at least ones with super potential like you) live far away from me. Sucks big time, but it could be worse.
