2 pounds!!

I'm sure you're wondering my I'm so excited. You see, I've been sitting at the same weight for nearly two weeks. I know that weight loss isn't always reflected by a scale, and that there's muscle/fat exchanges going on, check your measurements, etc. I KNOW this but somehow I only get excited when I see that magical number at my feet. I have my next check-in on the 31st so I have to really push if I want to hit my goal before then. It's 4 pounds though which isn't very healthy for 8 days, but even if I only drop one it's still a victory. :D
ConCarolinas is quickly approaching. I've started the usual prep. Monday I got my oil changed/new air filter/new wiper blades. Next Monday I'll be sending my baby down to Firestone for my free alignment and tire check (best $100 spent ever!). I also brought my GPS in to work to update the maps. Glad I did because apparently I haven't done it in 7 months. O_O According to the updating program I have a 6 HOUR download time. Guess I don't go out of town enough.
Tonight I start sewing. Hopefully by the time Sunday night comes around I'll have 3.5 costumes done and ready for packing. Gotham City Imposter and Klingon will be worn on Friday, with Telma and Hostess (she's .5 because I bought the dress) on Saturday. Normally I'd have Monday to pick up slack, but since CC is the next Friday I can't take the time or else I won't get all my work-work done. Such a hard life!
