A random jumble of thoughts

morganskyeCan't wait to head to Charlotte on Friday. I'm going up to see some old convention friends, some of whom I haven't seen in 5+ years. It'll be nice to catch up and relax.
Speaking of Friday, I took the day off since I have a doctor's appointment at 10am (which would get me to work around noon), then I wanted to leave early to get to NC at a decent hour. However as soon as I got it approved, I ended up adding a trip to the cable company, a stop at M&D's to get my machine/fix their computer, and stopping by the new trade-a-book (been putting that off for weeks). Busy day got busy!
I'm enjoying playing Mass Effect 3. I had a little burp when The Cloud lost my 20+ hour save (long story), but I'm pretty much back to where I was thanks to my memory and a planet resource cheat sheet. However I think I need to unsubscribe from the ME LJ group. People are talking about how much they hate the ending (no spoilers thankfully), but it's really getting me down that so many fans are hating what Bioware did. I feel like it's going to taint the ending for me. I want to make my own judgements. Although, honestly, I feel that #3 is weaker than #2. ME2 was amazing from beginning to end. It'll be hard to top.
Nashicon prep is going wellish. Once I get my machine back I can finish Lily and MyuJupiter. Telma I'm saving for the weekend so I can marathon it. Plus most of what I need to do requires more than an evening in one shot. I don't want to stop and start if I can help it.
Lastly, I signed up for Dreamwidth just in case something happens to LJ. I'm also morganskye on there, so let me know if I need to add you.
