Weekend MADNESS!!

Had Friday night off, which was a miracle of miracles. B and I went to Mt. Pleasant (the 'nice' part of Charleston. Liars!!) and saw Hoodwinked. It was very good and everyone should go see it because indy CGI needs all the love it can get! Then we went to Ihop and got pissed off our waitress. No tea no tip! She totally ignored us for 20 min and the place was pratically empty. Grr!
I should have done some OT at SEG on Saturday morning, but I couldn't get my lazy butt up. So I slept in with Barry till he went off for his usual Sat. morning thing. I stayed behind and played Dragon Quest till around 2, then ate lunch and went to Lowes. I was so wrung out when I got home at 10:30ish I went straight to bed.
Sunday ROCKED!! Went to brunch with Kerri, her hubby, and Barry. Had Bananas Foster for the first time. Dessert heaven! After that we went to go see his sister Robin where she told us that Andy (their brother) is giving us a really nice washing machine. Long story, but it doesn't matter since we're getting it for free! Woop! That leaves a dryer and a sofa to snag. *happy dance* We did a little grocery shopping for the game then headed home for a well earned nap.
The game was excellent, although Barry went upstairs to play vgames because he couldn't watch. I did watch and it rocked. There was a few bad calls for both sides, but I think the right team won. ^_^ My games snacks weren't as good though. I made a dip for memory and it was horrible. Seriously bad. I dumped that one after one taste. The barley chili was much better though. Barry had seconds so that makes me feel better. I'm really paranoid about him not liking my cooking. Anyway, after the game it was bed for me, more vgames for him. But he turned it off before I fell asleep, so we got a little cuddle time in. *happy sigh*
All in all it was a very nice weekend. Next one will be a little rough (mid-shift at Lowes), but with another Sunday off. Before I know it, it'll be time to fly to DC! Yay!
