Holiday crap-fest

Because of Lowes I've missed 2 Christmas parties (mine and Barry's work). Mine was a relaxed BBQ, his is a fully catered money-fest with cheap booze and shrimp. Damnit. I really wanted to go to those...
The thorn-in-my-side at Lowes is again being a twat by not having the least bit of courtesy by reading the freaking HUGE note I wrote on my time off request. I asked for the weekend before X-mas off. I have family/friend/baking/etc to see and do. I want a little bit of time. Well she hasn't said shit and she's already scheduled me for Friday night, which I ask off. This probably means I won't get the weekend off. *curse*
I won't quit because I need the money. However, they're getting me mad enough to spit and hiss. Perhaps it's the holiday crunch. Perhaps I'm going through my PT job slump (which I always get). Perhaps I just need a good tall drink and a bad dirty movie. At least I have Barry to whine to...and molest.
