morganskyeI got contacts on Friday, but it looks like I won't have much luck with this set either. I have a sever astigmatism in both eyes. I've tried at least three other times to get contacts. I should have known it wouldn't work, but it was worth a shot. It's not a total loss though. The contacts I have are good enough to get by for costumes and such. I can't wear them for a long time however. Thankfully I rarely wear a costume all day.
We're carving out pumpkins today. We're late this year. >_< Normally we do Halloweenie stuff for the entire month, but we haven't so much as gone to a haunted house. My Velma costume is a bust. I couldn't find the right socks or a decent skirt pattern, so I guess I'll have to try again next year. I guess that's fine though. I look like ass in a skirt right now.
Work is slow right now. I ended up leaving early because I literally ran out of things to do. I hope things pick up soon. Still no luck with finding a PT job either. *sigh* I'm not going to stress about it because there's no point. All I can do is think happy thoughts.
