Wonderful news!

I went the emergency room last night. Wee! I couldn't breath and my fingers felt numb. Woohoo! I'm not being sarcastic. Well, except for the wee and woohoo. I did go last night. I was there from 6ish till 10:30pm. Apparently I was having an anxiety/stress-induced attack. Sure as hell didn't feel like that.
I'd been feeling a bit under the weather all day (see previous post). About the time I was leaving job #1 for job #2 I felt a tightness in my chest. It felt like I wasn't quite getting enough air. No biggie. It's from my oncoming cold. As I get closer to Lowes it starts to get worse. I can't get a good breath. I have to make myself think 'in and out' constantly. If I pause between breaths I would get the sensation similar to if you hold your breath for too long. Yeah, I was buggin'. When I got to Lowes I called home. Home said 'Get your ass the emergency room'. Thankfully the hospital was literally on the other side of the parking lot. I got a manager to drive me over and I checked myself in. Barry and Dad were soon there. Mom stayed behind because 1) it would get very crowded quickly and 2) if I was going to be staying overnight I would need her to bring clothes. Anyhoo, Doctor came in, ordered more blood tests than I can count, a chest xray and a CRT scan. He was checking for blood clots and pneumonia. After whining and crying like a bitch they stuck me once in the left hand for the blood tests (gawd they took 7 vials!). They stuck me again in the right arm for the CRT. That fucker HURT. First the guy trys to put the radioactive (no joke) stuff through my hand IV which felt like someone shoving a pair of scissors under your nail. Since that clearly wasn't comfortable (I cursed A LOT) he had to do a new IV. That sucked ass. Btw, that radioactive shit BURNS. You can feel it traveling down your body and it makes you have to pee like no ones business. So after that torture the Doc said I was fine. I just needed to relax. Too much stress. Shit buddy, what do you think the medical bill is going to do for me? He gave me an RX for that...Through the whole thing Dad and Barry were worried. I don't blame them, but I kept trying to tell them I was fine. After that adavan they pumped into me I was doing great. Note to self: get more! I got home around 11 and crashed.
Long story short I'm fine. Tired, but fine. For those of you thinking 'Why the HELL didn't she call?!?' the answer is simple. I'm fine. If I had been burned over 90% of my body or lost a limb I would be on the phone. I didn't...so I didn't. Don't worry. ^_^
Today I chilled. When to my regular Doc who said I was peachy. Spent a little time with Barry, then went home and chilled more. I didn't go into work for obvious reasons. I'm tired. I do have a cold after all...
PS: For those of you waiting on a 5 questions I'll get to it asap, promise.
