What happened to the weekend?

morganskyeAs predicted I didn't get to leave early even though I had nothing to do after 2pm. I just sat on my butt and surfed the net for 3 hours. We did get lunch, but it was pizza. Ugh.
This weekend was nice, but busy. We dug out the Xmas decorations, and I have 80% up. I was working on some garland for the kitchen divider, but I stopped halfway because my arms were too sore. lol! Other then our little tree and the garland there really isn't much that screams 'HOLIDAY!', but that's because we don't have a lot of stuff, nor many places to put it. Meh. I did luck out and find my stash of Christmas cards. I have about 10 different sets to choose from. Most are opened and are of average quality, but there's several unopened sets from Hallmark that I picked up last year during the after-holiday sales. Schweet!
I worked on soap this weekend. I really didn't put much into though since I had to keep starting and stopping. I'm only about 1/8 of the way done. BAH! I may have to rethink what I'm giving co-workers...I might end up baking like I did last year. I dunno. I'm not as keen on baking this year because I have a crap oven. We'll see.
We had dinner at B's sister's on Sunday. Omg so good! She does very traditional Southern food. It makes my tummy happy. I didn't weigh myself this morning, and I forgot to make lunch stuff yesterday. I'll probably have a veggie sub for lunch so I can at least pretend that I'm eating healthy. I haven't weighted myself since Friday, but if I could make it through 2 T-day meals and still lose a little I should be ok...for now...
I still have no clue what to get B for his main present. I have a few small gifts in mind, but one may be ruled out already. ARGH! Normally it isn't hard to shop for him, but this year is rough because I won't have any money till mid-month. So that rules out online shopping, and there isn't much locally that he likes. *ponder* This is going to suck.
