*curse*

I haven't budget an ounce since last week. RAGE!

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I'm within my calorie range, I'm drinking more than my required water, and I've started working out. I'm confused. :(

I'm going to increase my free veggie intake (celery, cucumbers, broccoli, and cauliflower) and trade out a few of my staples once I get through what I've already bought. Basically that's oatmeal (flavored for plain), many of my 100 calorie snacks (most are massive carbohydrates), and make more salads. Since my fridge is a dick I'll have to stop at the store more often. Boo.

I'm sure someone out there is going 'But Morgan! If you're having trouble losing weight, why are you eating MORE?'. Because it's clear that what I'm eating right now isn't working. With the above changes I'll actually be taking in fewer calories per item so I need to cram more into my food hole.

I had my first Zumba class last night. It was fun! The hour went by pretty quickly and while I'm a little sore I don't HURT like I thought I would. Don't get me wrong, if I twist too quickly to the right I feel a small zing! in my side, but otherwise I'm good. :D

Finally, I need some recommendations. Can anyone suggest a good set of headphones for working out? My ear is shaped funny so I can't wear earbuds. I need something that hooks over my ear, but everything I've found either hurts or doesn't stay put. Help? Oh! One more. A good, reasonably priced heart monitor. The ones I can afford have crap ratings on Amazon, and the good ones are around $100. No bueno. And why are they all so fugly?

Have you heard of fitbit? http://www.fitbit.com/product/features it tracks a bunch of biometrics and tons of other neat stuff and its $100. A little steep but you're getting much more than just a heart monitor. My mom bought one and loves it. Just letting you know. Good luck. You got this!

Neat! It's out of my range, but it's going on the wishlist anyway. Thanks!

More fresh produce is a good idea. Give the new diet a few weeks and adjust from there. You're on the right track!

I hope so. :)

I have great news for you! you're retaining water. Everytime I'm away from the gym for a few months, and go back on a regular schedule, I stop losing weight. I sometimes even gain. It's all water weight. your muscles are unused to doing things, and are retaining water - even with all the liquid you are drinking - and this is from someone who has been going to the gym kinda regularly for the last 5 years. it still happens to be every time - I stop for 4 months, come back, and BOOM water weight. It's frustrating because it's the exact same thing - I've cut calories and my ass is working out, but my weight is still stalled. For me it lasts about 2 weeks. After that, you should see the water weight and regular weight start to fall off again. In the meantime, changing your food around will help too. Fruits and vegges are always good for you.

Please please please let this be the case! You give me hope. :D

Brainfart, I'll see you at ConCarolinas right?

Did I ask you about judging at the contest?

I swear I need a pallet of post-its. I can't remember jack crap anymore.

Try reducing, but not eliminating, sugars? I dunno.
