Monthly Weight Check-In
I saw Dr. Amy this morning and she's very pleased with my progress.
(from 4/5 to 5/3)
Total lost: 10lbs
Fat lost: 6.5 (woop!)
Fat%: down .70%
BMI: down 2 points (huzzah!)
Water: up .40% (good range. you want this to be a small and slow increase)
She was happy that I'm still only taking 1/2 a appetite pill a day, but she also smacked me around for not taking the multivitamins she gave me. I do take a MV daily, but sometimes it's hers and sometimes it's the Walmart brand. It just depends on what's closest. What I didn't realize what that her MV's are much higher in content. It's 100% or higher across the board with a few necessary exceptions.
I told her about my gum problems, and she smacked me again because the MV's would/should have taken care of my problem. Yay vitamin deficiency! I'll keep an eye on my teeth to see if they're still being a butt after a few weeks of keep up with my pills.
All in all she told me to keep going and to aim for about 8lbs a month. I haven't been cleared to work out yet, but she said as soon as I hit my goal (5 to go) then I can go for it. :D

It takes time for your mental image of yourself to change and catch up to your outer image anyway. Better to go slowly. (That's got to be part of why women have so much anxiety after childbirth--swift body change.)
