I didn't have a choice. I had braces from 7th grade through 9th grade. When my wisdom teeth started to come in, my mother said "I spent so goddamn much money on your teeth, we're not ruining them now!" So they were pulled four days after my high school graduation. I had all four removed. The two on the left side were impacted but the right side weren't and I ended up looking like a pumpkin for a couple of days.
