Late post because I’m an ass.

Totally forgot to write about Ichibancon this past weekend. It was surprisingly awesome. I didn’t really want to go at first because I didn’t have much cash. However Owen talked me into it. I’m SO glad he did! We stayed with really cool people, and I ran into so many friends I kicked myself for not trying harder to plan meet-ups and such.
( The rundown: )

I’m going back fo sho! They’re going to have to move to a bigger space though. It was crazy packed. From what I was told attendance doubled, which is great for a second-year con. I don’t plan on ever working this con if I can help it. Maybe a panel or two, but that’s it. I miss having cons I can compete in. I’m also happy that I’m enjoying going to cons again. There was a time where I actually dreaded going. Funny, no? I think the friends I met/made was the biggest improvement. Great peeps all around. I was Mama Morgan by the end of the con to my roomies, which gave my heart warm fuzzies. :) I also saw my faux-cousin Angela, which is always full of win.

So all in all, it was fun. :)

I've gone insane.

For years I've been wanting to make an Amelia costume (you know, Slayers?). I always ended bumping it off the list for one reason or another. Well, I can't do that anymore because the fabulous miss fluffydragon put a knife to my throat. lol j/k...maybe.

Anyway, to beef it up I've given myself a 48 hour costume challenge. I have one weekend (Friday night to Sunday night) to complete Amelia. This time doesn't include shopping, but it does include the wig. Can I do it? Hell if I know...

I do know that this won't be a 100% accurate costume. I'm wearing brown boots I already own, using a black wig (for reuse purposes) instead of black with purple, etc.

Basically it's a insane piece of hell fun little project. Wee.
