A little help?
Mar. 20th, 2009 11:19 amD*C peeps! Would anyone be willing to pick up a sheet cake on Thursday? I ask because 1) there's no way a cake would handle the 5hr drive from SC, and 2) I have NO idea what's around ATL, much less downtown. Generally once my car is parked in the garage it doesn't move. All the good spots are taken by Thursday afternoon.
Why am I getting a cake? To celebrate of course! Since Gail and myself are both getting hitched (and said hitchers will also be attending), we figured it would be fun to par-tay. Plus I had a cooly dumb idea of having a picture of Spock on the cake with 'Live Long and Prosper' at the top along with our names and wedding dates. It's a shame we can't get a shot of the cake and us with Leonard Nimoy. *sigh*
So that's cake and fun at Trader Joe's with kill your liver alcohol. Yay!! *note to self: get cheesy bridal stuff at the party store*
Speaking of D*C, standard schedule will apply. Arrive around 10am Thursday, leaving Monday morning-ish. Barry is attempting to work the con this year, so we might leave later than normal.
