Going shopping tonight

I drained my bank account. Yes, I know I shouldn't have BUT there is a ton of stuff I need to do that I've been putting off for ages. Number one on my list is a haircut. Shaggy looks clean-cut compared to my frumpy do. I nearly got a manicure with the office ladies today, but since I attacked my nails with a stressed vengeance a few days ago I have nothing to make pretty. >_< I'm also going to get a few bits and pieces for Christmas. The cat needs toys and I think I'll get something for the dog across the street. That poor baby needs to be on a farm, not locked up in an apartment.

I've nearly got my apt cleaned up. Most of the soap stuff is put away. I still want to tackle the laundry closet and the piles of craft stuff/books/junk in the corner by the back door. I can't seem to keep it clean!! Ugh!! I think perhaps I should empty the trunk out, move the contents upstairs to the spare room (so I can remind myself that I have them), and use it for real storage. I'd love the move the trunk upstairs, but there's no place to put it. *ponders* Well, I could swap the trunk for the bookshelf at the end of the bed. Yes, I think I'll do that. ^_^ Problem solved!

I'll attempt to finish wrapping gifts this weekend, although there really isn't much to do. I really need to be concentrating on cleaning and finishing projects. If I don't at least clean I won't have a spot to work on my costume pieces.
